OK, Good Stuff: Behind the scenes – Ep 1
OK, Good Stuff… man, we had so many ideas for this show over the many months we were brainstorming the idea of Maybe Hip. Pat thought of the name for this show, but that is the only thing that has stayed the same since we first thought of it. In fact, before we decided to create an entire Internet video channel, OK, Good Stuff was going to be our only video podcast that we were going to do for fun. Pat and I, talking about whatever it is we talk about… except on camera.
Well, as we developed the idea for OKGS and Maybe Hip in general, we were going to add different activities into the show and showcase different short videos we would create. Our discussions were going to be about anything and everything going on in the world around us, as seen from the point of view of us young adults. Maybe we’ll bust out some of these activities, shorts, and discussion topics in the future, but despite these different fun ideas, the show just wasn’t focused enough. We were trying to do everything, and we worried the audience wasn’t going to follow along.
So, we stripped the show down to a conversation about pop culture and hip things in our world, such as movies, TV shows, and cool things on the web. We feel there is still SO much to say about these topics, and there is still enough variety to keep it interesting, but the show will make more sense to you guys, we hope, with the structure we added.
We hope you guys enjoy the first and future episodes of “OK, Good Stuff”… and remember to let us know what you like and what you don’t like. And hey, if you want the show to include shorts, activities, different discussion topics, or anything else, let us know because we’re definitely not counting any of that out.
