Your News: Behind the Scenes

Boy, am I thankful for the two outgoing guys who sit next to me on the first episode of “Your News”.  T-Box and Kevin are great anchors for this show.  We searched high and low for the perfect duo to help anchor Your News, and even though we never found those perfect guys, we’re happy we can settle for Kevin and Box.

Of course, I’m kidding.  They really are awesome to have host.  The first group of episodes will see us choosing our own news stories that we find interesting, but please… PUHLEEASE, send in the topics and specific news stories that you find interesting and want to share with the Maybe Hip community to YourNews@maybehip.com, and there’s a good chance we’ll include your story or topic in an upcoming show.

So do you guys really want to know where we found these two handsome gentlemen to co-host?  OK, I’ll tell you.  These fine lads blossomed with me at the University of Illinois as members of the world-renowned improvisational comedy troupe, Spicy Clamato (Shout out to the kings of the Courtyard Cafe! http://www.facebook.com/spicyclamato), and today Kevin and T-Box can be seen performing sketch and improv comedy across Chicago.  (See their bios for details.)

Anyways, we’re having lots of fun developing this show.  In the future, you can also see some reports from on-the-scene correspondents and other fun things we might want to try.  Let us know what you guys would like to see, and we might just give it a shot!
