Chicago Music: Katie Todd and Stephen Wright
Katie Todd and Stephen Wright graced us with their presence for episode 4 of Chicago Rocks. Watching them play music was amazing; It was like a private concert in our home. Katie playing on Lexi’s grand piano and Stephen rocking on his trumpet were music to our ears that day. Stephen also had a brand new mic for his trumpet that very few people have in the world right now. Andrew was extremely happy with the way the sound turned out for Katie’s songs as I’m sure all of you will be too once you’ve heard them.
Watch this episode of Chicago Rocks here, and watch Katie’s three music videos below. An extra fourth video should be up soon.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for watching us here on MaybeHip.com, specifically Maybe Hip: Chicago Rocks. It was so much fun filming with everyone, and just hanging out. It has been a couple of weeks since we did the filming for the show so I wanted to give you a little update on what’s going on with us right now.
Since when did the show, we’ve been doing a few more live shows and just getting everything as tight and fun as we possibly can. Let’s see… In the past couple of months we have played everything from coffee shops in Madison, WI (Mother Fool’s) to opening up for The Damnwells at the Double Door in Chicago. No matter where we go, we always have such great and loyal fans who show up to support us. The best part is that the group of fans is growing very quickly thanks to you all.
We have been doing a lot of work on getting all of our internet stuff together too. We’ve got several sites that are up and running, and we are starting to get more and more traffic to each of them… We are currently getting over 55,000 hits a month on KatieTodd.com; we’ve got almost 1,000 fans on Facebook; we’ve got over 180,000 plays on mySpace; our downloads on iTunes is way over 300,000. Things couldn’t be better for us right now thanks to you all.
If you want to check us out on these sites, here they are:

We’ll also keep an eye out on our page here at MaybeHip.com so leave us comments, questions, etc…
We’ve got some great shows coming up in the next couple of months. We’ll be in Indianapolis on Jan 30, back in Chicago on Feb 5, and then we are doing some midwest dates at the end of March with Anna Coogan. You can always see where we are going to be by going to the shows page on http://www.katietodd.com.
Last, but not least, thanks to MaybeHip.com for having us on. The work that you guys are doing on this site is great, and provides a venue for people to be exposed to the great stuff that you don’t always hear in the mainstream media. We really appreciate you having us on and hope to hang out with you soon…….AND have some more 2 Below!!!
Thanks everyone,
Katie Todd
