News: Chicago Roots Collective and MaybeHip.com Presents…

Chicago Roots Collective and MaybeHip.com presents: Jackpot Donnie at Durty Nellie’s!  Also playing are How Far to Austin, Murley Shertz, & Greensugar.

I can honestly tell you from experience that you can’t have a bad time at one of these shows.  The energy that these bands have when they perform is really something special, and they make the audience a part of the show. News: MAYBE HIP LAUNCHES NEW INTERNET TELEVISION NETWORK AT WWW.MAYBEHIP.COM

Chicago, IL – December 3, 2009 – New Internet Television Network, Maybe Hip, launched its website today and has premiered the first episodes of its five pop culture-focused shows. As internet video continues to climb as one of the most preferred mediums for news and entertainment, Maybe Hip is reaching audiences in a new way: through an interactive entertainment platform, positioned around conversational-based video content. Maybe Hip is founded by Patrick Lothian, Lexi Scherr, and Rob Silver.

News: Maybe Hip Launches Site on December 3rd, Searches for HD

Maybe Hip is officially launched as of December 3rd, 2009.  We want to know your thoughts on everything posted on our site all the time, so comment on the videos and let us know what you are thinking.  For each show we have an idea of where we want it to go, but these are all for you, so it will really be you that shapes the shows.  So lets start talking.  Follow us at Twitter/maybehip and become our fan on Facebook.

We are also searching for the answers to our HD questions.  We should have full HD support in the near future. If any friends have input on achieving the most reliable HD quality, let us know at info@maybehip.com.

News: Maybe Hip has started up their blog section

maybehipWith the official launch of “Maybe Hip – Internet Television” Still a few months away, the members have started up their blog section. Many of the blogs fit with a corresponding show that will be launched with the site. The topics range from Music (My Indie Life & Chicago Rocks), to movies and pop culture (OK, Good Stuff & For OR Against), to interesting and entertaining news (Your News), and anything else we can come up with. The founders of Maybe Hip, Patrick Lothian, Robby Silver, and Lexi Scherr, also welcome Mike Winand to contribute on the Sad Robot Bureau blog, and Tom Lothian on the Podcast Review blog.

When there is a better idea of the timeline for the release of the shows we will anounce it. For now just enjoy the blogs and leave us some comments.
