Rob is a graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Finance. To offset the seriousness of his business degree, Rob also performed as a member of a leading improv comedy group for three years during school. After working at a specialized brokerage firm in Chicago, Rob developed the idea for Maybe Hip with co-founders Patrick Lothian and Lexi Scherr. Besides heading business development for the venture, Rob also appears as a host on multiple shows and assists with production.

Currently, on the side, Rob performs in a Chicago-based sketch comedy group, “World’s Best Dad”, and has been active in a number of other Chicago-based organizations.

Rob would love to talk with anyone who is interested in what he is doing. Follow him on Twitter or email at rsilver@maybehip.com. He looks forward to hearing from you.

Lexi graduated in 2008 from Indiana University with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology, which she plans to do nothing with.  Her real passion comes from the creative arts like acting (theater and film) as well as music (singing and piano), which she has been doing for several years. She is currently recording her first full-length cd which will be made available at LexiScherr.com as well as thesixtyone.com.

Upon graduation, Lexi, along with Rob and Pat, decided to create MaybeHip.com believing internet tv to be the next wave of popular media. She is excited about the opportunity to host My Indie Life, and Your News along with her co-hosts who have been her best friends for over five years.

Any Maybe Hip fans should feel free to twitter her as well as become a friend on facebook. She is always looking for feedback on shows in order to make them as entertaining as possible, so make sure to email her at lscherr@maybehip.com.

Michael attended several universities in the Midwest and graduated with a degree in history education.  While at school he was neither a member of a sketch comedy group or improv troupe.  He thought about doing stand-up comedy for several years, but ultimately chickened out until the prospects of getting a real job pushed him on stage.  He should have stayed off.

Michael currently teaches at an undisclosed location in an urban setting and remains purposefully ambiguous on-line to avoid awkward questioning from his students.  You can see him on the show For or Against.  If you want to get in touch with him, contact him at ForORAgainst@maybehip.com.

Tom graduated so long ago, and if he could see through the dust that is now on the diploma he received, he would tell you where he went to school. While he doesn’t remember much from his college days he did escape with a degree in Radio, TV & Film (I think the kids today call it media). When you get to my age you do develop opinions and I hope to share them with you with my podcast review column. While not writing I am the National Business Development Manager for www.disk.com. I look forward to introducing you to a few new podcasts along the way and also help you avoid wasting you time with some that no one should admit to having on their subscription list.
